College Emblem

The College Emblem/Logo has been designed with a core badge of CNI (Church of North India) enclosed in a circle, which symbolizes eternity. The surrounding circular ring of the CNI badge in which there is a mention of Unity, Witness and Service are also the main objectives of Bishop Johnson School & College as it instantly spells Unity of all in the diversity bears witness to faith in the Lord and devotes to the service to all without any distinction. The four symbols – Cross, Torch, Open Book and Racer in the outer domains of the emblem signify the four major goals of the institution.

  • The Cross symbolizes that no one is to be deprived and be rejected to achieve the true virtues of life.
  • The Torch/Flame symbolizes dedication and never ceasing effort of the academia, and spreads the message of hope, harmony, luster and enlightenment.
  • The Open Book symbolizes wisdom and intellect and it indicates that the knowledge is freely shared with the academia.
  • The Racer/Runner symbolizes that the learning never stops and one can learn as much and as fast as possible. It refers to various sports and extra-curricular activities, in the College, which helps the students to be physically and mentally fit.

The upper strip of the emblem shows the name of the college whereas the lower strip shows the motto of the college and its year of inception. The Motto of the college-‘Omnia Circum Excellentia’ means ‘All round Excellence’ of the pupils.

Above all, the Monarch designed on the top of the emblem signifies that Bishop Johnson School & College is one of the premier institution of the Prayagraj city.
