Examination & Promotion
  • Students should secure 35% marks in average in each Subject throughout the Terminal Examinations in an academic year in order to secure promotion to the next class.
  • Appearing at all terminal examination is compulsory. Special arrangement cannot be made for pupils who remain absent from any examination for any reason whatsoever. No claim for promotion will be entertained on the basis of medical certificate. In special cases, Principal's decision is final.
  • Minimum Attendance required to sit for the final examination is 75%. In exceptional cases, attendance may be condoned by the Principal for the students of classes other than ICSE(X) and ISC (XII) classes.
  • It is a must for each candidate appearing at ICSE/ISC Examination to have a copy of the Regulations & Syllabuses of the Council to avoid confusion. Candidates whose attendance is below 75% of the working days are ordinarily not eligible to sit for the examination. However, the Chief Executive & Secretary has the authority to consider the shortage in the case of candidates whose minimum attendance is not less that 60% of the working days. Heads of the Schools may present to the Chief Executive & Secy. cases of the candidates who deserve special consideration for condonation, provided that the attendance of such candidates is not less than 60% of the working days. The Principal has not right to condone attendance and issue admit cards.
